(3) The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene shall adopt
regulations as appropriate to implement recommendations developed under this
subsection.
(b) The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene shall submit an interim
report on or before September 1 June 30, 2006, and a final report on or before
December 1, 2006, shall report to the Senate Finance Committee and the House
Health and Government Operations Committee in accordance with § 2-1246 of the
State Government Article on the development of the methodology required under
subsection (a) of this section.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2006.

(House Bill 1364)
AN ACT concerning
Correctional Officers' Retirement System - Reemployment of Retirees
FOR the purpose of exempting from a certain offset of a retirement allowance certain
retirees of the Correctional Officers' Retirement System who are reemployed as
correctional officers in certain correctional facilities; requiring the Division of
Corrections in the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to
provide the State Retirement Agency with certain information; providing that
certain retirees of the Correctional Officers' Retirement System may only be
reemployed for a certain period of time; requiring the Division of Corrections in
the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to submit certain
reports by a certain date to certain committees; and generally relating to the
reemployment of retirees in the Correctional Officers' Retirement System.
