Ch. 364 2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF THE ASSESSMENT AS
REQUIRED UNDER SUBSECTION (C)(1) OF THIS SECTION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006, and shall be applicable to all assessment notices sent after October
31, 2007 2008.

(House Bill 955)
AN ACT concerning
State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists - Licenses and
Certificates - Reciprocity
FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Board of Professional Counselors and
Therapists to waive certain certification requirements for certain applicants for
certificates to practice as a professional counselor-alcohol and drug, associate
counselor-alcohol and drug, or supervised counselor-alcohol and drug under
certain circumstances; requiring certain applicants to meet certain
requirements to qualify for a certain waiver; authorizing the Board to waive
certain licensing requirements for certain applicants for a license to practice as
a clinical alcohol and drug counselor or a clinical professional counselor under
certain circumstances; requiring certain applicants to meet certain
requirements to qualify for a certain waiver; requiring the Board to adopt
certain regulations; and generally relating to the State Board of Professional
Counselors and Therapists and the reciprocity of licenses and certificates.
