Ch. 302                                    2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
assignment of licenses; authorizing the Somerset County Board of License
Commissioners to waive a certain publication notice with respect to the transfer
or assignment of Class C club licenses; increasing the fee required for filing
changes in the officers of certain corporations and clubs; increasing the salaries
of the members, chairman, attorney, and clerk for the Somerset County Board of
License Commissioners; authorizing the Board to issue a wine tasting license in
Somerset County; requiring applications for alcoholic beverages licenses in
Somerset County to contain a statement that the applicant consents to the
Board investigating the applicant's criminal record; requiring the Board to
fingerprint applicants for alcoholic beverages licenses and to charge a certain
fee in connection with the to cover the cost of fingerprinting and performing a
State and national criminal history records check; requiring the Board to have
certain notice of applications for alcoholic beverages licenses advertised in a
certain manner and requiring the applicants for those licenses to pay a certain
fee to cover the costs of the advertising; providing for a certain late fee to be
assessed if renewals for alcoholic beverages licenses are not filed in a certain
manner; requiring an alcoholic beverages licensee that appeals a decision of the
Board to the Circuit Court for Somerset County to pay a certain fee; providing
that the provisions of this Act relating to the salaries of the members and
chairman of the Board of License Commissioners do not apply to the incumbent
members and chairman of the Board; making a technical correction; and
generally relating to alcoholic beverages in Somerset County. BY adding to Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages Section 8-410.2, 10-103(b)(9)(v), 10-202(p), 10-301(s), and 10-503(u) Annotated Code of Maryland (2005 Replacement Volume) BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages Section 3-101(a), 3-201(a), 3-301(a), 3-401(a), 4-201(a), 5-101(a), 5-201(a),
5-301(a), 5-401(a), 6-201(a)(l) and (2), 6-301(a), 6-401(a), 10-103(b)(9)(i),
(ii), and (iv), and 10-503(a)(l) Annotated Code of Maryland (2005 Replacement Volume) BY repealing Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 10-202(p) and 10-503(u)
