(3) an auxiliary for a county volunteer[:
(i)] fire [company] DEPARTMENT[;] or
[(ii)] rescue [company] SQUAD.
(c) A person who is not a legal resident of the county may not conduct bingo.
(d) To qualify for a bingo permit, a person shall meet the requirements set by
the county.
(e) Only members of [a qualifying] AN organization LISTED UNDER
SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION may conduct and operate bingo games.
(f) A person who conducts bingo may not offer or award:
(1) a prize or award with a fair market value exceeding $5,000; or
(2) a money prize exceeding $5,000.

The County Commissioners may adopt rules and regulations to carry out this
subtitle, INCLUDING AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS IN ANY ACTIVITY
INVOLVING A GAMING EVENT OR BINGO.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October July 1, 2006.

(House Bill 133)
AN ACT concerning
Education - Maryland Infants and Toddlers Program - Grants - Funding
FOR the purpose of repealing a limitation that grants provided under the Maryland
Infants and Toddlers Program are subject to the availability of funds in the
State budget requiring the Governor to include a certain minimum
appropriation in the annual budget for the Maryland Infants and Toddlers
Program; repealing certain obsolete provisions of law; correcting an obsolete
reference; and generally relating to the funding of the Maryland Infants and
Toddlers Program.
