M00Q01.03 Medical Care Provider
Reimbursements
All appropriations provided for the program
M00Q01.03 are to be used only for the
purposes herein appropriated, and there
shall be no budgetary transfer to any
other program or purpose.
It is the intent of the General Assembly that
the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene reimburse medically based child
care centers that participate in the
Maryland Medical Assistance Program for
care provided to Program recipients at a
per diem rate of at least $80.
It is the intent of the General Assembly that
the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene (DHMH) continue to work with
managed care entities and other health
care providers to: (1) identify Medicaid
enrollees at risk for chronic kidney
disease (CKD) through routine clinical
laboratory assessments of kidney
