Funds are appropriated in other agency
budgets to pay for services provided by
this program. Authorization is hereby
granted to use these receipts as special
funds for operating expenses in this
program.
MENTAL HYGIENE ADMINISTRATION
It is the intent of the General Assembly that
in fiscal 2008 and for subsequent fiscal
years, the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene comply with Chapter 444,
Acts of 2005 and fund services provided at
the Regional Institutes for Children and
Adolescents regardless of who provides
those services. This will require the
department to provide a grant to the
Montgomery and Prince George's counties
local education agencies for educational
services provided at the facilities in
Montgomery and Prince George's
counties.
