FOR the purpose of repealing the provision that will terminate,
after a certain date, the authority granted to Anne Arundel
County to levy a sales or use tax on certain goods and
services.

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes
Section 411C
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1980 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)

Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 650.
This bill provides that certain loans may be undertaken or
entered into by certain counties or Baltimore City without regard
to limitations and without complying with certain procedures.
