MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE

The Honorable Benjamin L. Cardin
Speaker of the House of Delegates
State House
Annapolis, Maryland 21404
Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 123.
This bill continues the existence of the Board of Examiners
for Hearing Aid Dealers in accordance with the Regulatory
Programs Evaluation Act of 1978 beyond July 1, 1984 to July 1,
1994.
Senate Bill 80, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 10, 1983, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 123.
