(a) The provisions in §§ 159, 159A, 159B, 159C and 159D
shall be applicable to Baltimore, Calvert, Dorchester, Somerset,
Wicomico, Worcester, Charles, Garrett, Caroline, Cecil, Harford,
Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, Talbot, Washington, Anne
Arundel, Frederick, PRINCE GEORGE'S, and Carroll counties only.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

AN ACT concerning
Admissions and Amusement Tax - Commercial Bingo in Anne
Arundel County
FOR the purpose of providing that the gross receipts subject to
the admissions and amusement tax from certain bingo games in
Anne Arundel County be reduced by the amount of certain
distributions; and requiring certain financial statements to
be provided to Anne Arundel County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes
402.
(D) IN THIS SUBTITLE, FOR ANY COMMERCIAL BINGO OPERATION IN
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY THAT AS A PART OF ITS OPERATIONS DISTRIBUTES
MONEY OR PRIZES THE TAX SHALL BE LEVIED ON THE AMOUNT OF GROSS
RECEIPTS OBTAINED AT ADMISSION LESS ANY MONEY OR THE COST OF
PRIZES THAT ARE DISTRIBUTED AS WINNINGS. PRIOR TO THE RENEWAL OF
