(a) The Board may deny, suspend, or revoke a certificate or
license if a licensee or an applicant has violated or is
violating the provisions of this subtitle. In addition, the Board
may deny, suspend, or revoke a certificate or license if the
Board finds that an applicant or licensee:
(1) Has falsified records submitted to the Board; or
(2) Engages in habitual pattern of drunkenness or
drug use; or
(3) Demonstrates gross incompetence; or
(4) Fails to utilize proper sanitary methods in the
practice of barbering; OR
(5) FAILS TO MAINTAIN A BARBERSHOP IN A SANITARY
CONDITION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
