(iv) Fraudulently obtain, attempt to obtain, or
aid another person in fraudulently obtaining or attempting to
obtain, public moneys to which the person is not entitled under
this subtitle.
(2) Any person who violates the provisions of this
subsection is guilty of a felony and upon conviction is subject
to imprisonment for a period of not more than 5 years, or a fine
of not more than $10,000, or both.
(f) A person may not willfully make false statements that
any entity is or is not certified as a minority business
enterprise for purposes of this subtitle. Any person who
violates the provisions of this subsection is guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction is subject to imprisonment for a
period of not more than 6 months, or a fine of not more than
$500, or both.
(g) This subtitle shall have no further force and effect
after June 30, [1983] 1988; except that this subsection does not
preclude the prosecution after June 30, [1983] 1988 of any
violation of a provision of this subtitle which occurred on or
before June 30, [1983] 1988.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the regulations
required under this enactment shall be adopted no later than
December 31, 1983.

shall take effect July 1, 1983.

(House Bill 292)
AN ACT concerning
Oysters - Dredging and Tonging
FOR the purpose of clarifying and redefining certain county
waters in which a person may not use patent or hand tongs to
catch oysters; clarifying and redefining certain waters
where catching oysters by dredge is permitted and other
waters where that activity is prohibited; and making certain
stylistic changes; and making this Act an emergency measure.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
