INCIDENCE OF DISEASES COVERED BY THE IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENT
WITHIN THE EXEMPT POPULATION AND THE POPULATION AS A WHOLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983. It shall remain in effect for a period
of 2 years and, at the end of June 1985, with no further action
required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and
of no further force and effect and shall be removed from the
Annotated Code of Maryland.

(House Bill 228)
AN ACT concerning
Board of Social Work Examiners - Continuation
FOR the purpose of continuing the Board of Social Work Examiners
for a certain period; clarifying the law regarding licensure
requirements; eliminating the exemption from licensure of
certain social workers employed by the State or political
subdivisions of the State; providing a waiver of examination
requirements, within a certain period, for previous exempt
social workers; providing certain immunity from prosecution
during that period; specifying that an examination fee may
be charged in an amount that reflects the costs of the
examination; altering certain qualifications for social
worker licenses; putting an additional restriction on
provisions for waiver of the examination requirements;
making certain technical changes; and relating generally to
the State Board of Social Work Examiners.
