(e) The UNTIL JANUARY 1, 1993, THE Secretary [shall delay
enforcement of those] MAY NOT ADOPT regulations requiring display
of the total cost for the amount purchased on ANY stationary,
computing [devices] DEVICE which [dispense] DISPENSES gasoline,
gasohol, kerosene, or diesel fuel [until July 1, 1983] if:
[1) (1) The business where the device is located
did not dispense more than 120,000 gallons of fuel in the year
preceding January 1, 1981 ANY CALENDAR YEAR FROM JULY 1, 1983;]
(2) THE DEVICE WAS INSTALLED AT THE BUSINESS LOCATION
BEFORE JANUARY 1, 1983;
(1) THE DEVICE DID NOT DISPENSE MORE THAN 50,000
GALLONS OF FUEL IN THE YEAR PRECEDING JANUARY 1, 1981;
(2) (3) The business produces evidence to the
Secretary of the amount dispensed;
(3) (4) The computing device is set to compute at one
half the price per gallon; and
(4) (5) The pricing and information guidelines
established by the Secretary in the notice of May 31, 1979 are
met.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

CHAPTER 155
(Senate Bill 743)
AN ACT concerning
Escape - Sentencing
FOR the purpose of altering provisions of law relative to the
imposition of sentence for escape by providing that the
sentence is consecutive to any sentence which was being
served and which remained to be served by the escapee at the
time of the escape, or any sentence which had been imposed
but was not yet being served at the time of sentencing on
the escape; and providing that a sentence for escape may not
be suspended.
