(2) So designated by the United States government[.];
(i) "Submission 'date" means April 15[,] and October 15 of
any calendar year.
266KK-4.
(a) The following incentives and initiatives shall be
available to business entities to the extent provided for in this
section[.]:
(1) The special property tax credit set forth in
ARTICLE 81, § 12G-11 of [Article 81] THE CODE.
(2) The income tax credits set forth in ARTICLE 81, §
291A of [Article 81] THE CODE.
(3) The consideration for loans under the Maryland
Industrial Land Act set forth in § 441D of this article.
(4) The consideration for grants and loans from the
Maryland Industrial and Commercial Redevelopment Fund set forth
in § 462(c) OF THIS ARTICLE.
(5) Insurance by the Enterprise Zone Venture Capital
Guarantee Fund established in § 266KK-5 of this article.
(b) Any business entity moving into or locating within an
enterprise zone on or after the date on which the enterprise zone
is designated pursuant to § 266KK-2 OF THIS SUBTITLE may benefit
from the incentives and initiatives set forth in this section,
provided (1) that the business entity meets the requirements and
conditions of the Code section applicable to each incentive or
initiative, (2) that the business entity will create new or
additional jobs, and (3) that the business entity complies with
the standards submitted by the political subdivision under §
266KK-2[(c)](D) OF THIS SUBTITLE. Any business entity located
within an enterprise zone before the date on which the enterprise
zone is designated pursuant to § 266KK-2 OF THIS SUBTITLE may not
benefit from the incentives and initiatives set forth in this
section except with respect to any capital investment or any
expansion of its labor force occurring after the date on which
the enterprise zone is designated.

(b) To acquire, develop, preserve, and maintain historic,
aesthetic, or cultural properties, [building] BUILDINGS,
fixtures, furnishings, facilities, and appurtenances pertaining
in any way to historic St. Mary's City and its environs; and this
provision specifically includes the replica of the State House in
St. Mary's City.
