(18) Violates any rule or regulation adopted by the
Board; OR (19) VIOLATES ANY RESTRICTION ON RADIATION EXPOSURE
TO PATIENTS IN § 4-504 OF THIS TITLE. 4-504. (A) WHEN USING RADIATION FOR THE PURPOSES OF DENTAL
DIAGNOSIS OR THERAPY, A LICENSED DENTIST SHALL COVER A PATIENT'S
BODY FROM THE SHOULDERS TO THE LEGS WITH A PROTECTIVE MATERIAL
HAVING A LEAD EQUIVALENCY OF 0.5 MILLIMETERS SHALL BE PROTECTED
UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A LICENSED DENTIST. THE STATE BOARD OF
DENTAL EXAMINERS SHALL ADOPT STANDARDS RULES AND REGULATIONS OF
PATIENT PROTECTION TO BE APPLIED DURING THE USE OF RADIATION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983. Approved May 10, 1983.
CHAPTER 75 (Senate Bill 19) AN ACT concerning Creation of a State Debt - Belair Mansion FOR the purpose of authorizing the creation of a State Debt in
the amount of $1,500,000 $500,000, the proceeds to be used
as a grant to the City of Bowie for the purpose of
renovation, restoration, rehabilitation, repair, alteration,
and improvement of the Belair Mansion; requiring that the
City of Bowie provide a certain matching fund of a certain
kind for the same purpose by a certain date; providing that
certain easements be granted to the Maryland Historical
Trust; and providing generally for the issue and sale of
bonds evidencing the loan. SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That: (1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur
indebtedness on behalf of the State of Maryland through a State
loan to be known as the Belair Mansion Loan of 1983 in the
aggregate principal amount of $1,5000,000 $500,000. This loan
shall be evidenced by the issuance and sale of State general
obligation bonds authorized by a resolution of the Board of
Public Works and issued, sold and delivered in accordance with
