ANNEXATION RESOLUTION NO. 8
A Resolution of the council of the Town of Mount Airy to
enlarge the corporate boundaries of the Town of Mount Airy by
annexing thereto 7.633 acres of land, more or less, on the north
side of Prospect Road, west of the Hood Annexation and southeast
of the Rigler Annexation, Woodville Election District, Frederick
County, Maryland as more particularly described herein.
[Section 102 of the Charter of the Town of Mount Airy,
Carroll County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 1982-1
RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR & TOWN COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN LAKE
PARK, MARYLAND, ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE XI-E
OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND AND ARTICLE 23A OF
THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1957 EDITION), TITLE,
"CORPORATIONS MUNICIPAL," TO AMEND CHAPTER 26 OF THE CODE OF
PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF GARRETT COUNTY (1971 EDITION), TO-WIT:
SECTION 2 6-5 ENTITLED, "SALARY" AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the demands upon the time and effort of the Mayor
and Town Council have increased significantly; and
WHEREAS, the offices of Mayor and Town Council require the
services of persons dedicated to the public betterment; and
WHEREAS, the present salaries paid the Mayor and Town
Council is inadequate to compensate them for their time and
effort;
[Section 26-5 of the Code of Public Laws of Garrett County,
repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
