It is the intent of the General
Assembly in reducing the fiscal
year 1984 general fund
appropriation to the Maryland
State Firemen's Association for
the Emergency Assistance Trust
Fund, that any unused portion of
the fiscal year 1983
appropriation for this program be
encumbered and not revert to the
general fund and that the unused
portion be available to fund
requests for assistance during
fiscal year 1984 in accordance
with Sections 46A through 46D of
Article 38A. It is further the
intent of the General Assembly
that any amounts received as
payments on loans from the
Emergency Assistance Trust Fund
be placed in the Trust Fund and
be available to fund requests for
assistance during fiscal year
