purpose of authorizing the State Treasurer, subject to the
approval of the Board of Public Works, to make and sell
short-term notes in the name of the State in anticipation of the
collection of revenue, including revenues from the proceeds of
sales of bonds, subject to certain conditions; and submitting
this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of Maryland
for their adoption or rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election, 428,295
votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 600 and 261,238
votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter 600 the said
Chapter 600 of the Acts of 1982 has therefore been ratified.

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State Administrative Board of
Election Laws does hereby certify that at the General Election
held in the State of Maryland on November 2, 1982, an Act known
as Chapter 729 of the Acts of 1982 was submitted to the voters of
the State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Montgomery County - Composition of County
Council MC 220-82. For the purpose of permitting the election of
the Montgomery County by councilmanic districts providing that a
charter amendment adopted under this Act does not affect the
terms, powers, and duties of certain members of the Council;
providing that certain proposed amendments to the Montgomery
County Charter approved by the voters prior to a certain election
shall be null and void; and submitting this amendment to the
qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or
rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election, 377,559
