23.01.07.01 General Administration
General Fund Appropriation,
provided that $321,000 shall not
be expended pending approval by
the Budget Committees during the
1983 interim of the plan for
expanding the Gateway II project
to other counties.................
The General Fund Appropriation
herein authorized may be
transferred by approved budget
amendment to other State agencies
with programs providing services
to the aging. Included in the
appropriation herein authorized
is the amount of $597,200 to be
transferred to the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene to be
utilized for geriatric evaluation
and community placement services,
$168,630 to the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene for Day
Care for the Elderly, $170,792 to
the Department of Human Resources
for Public Assistance to aged
adults, $2,233,263 to the
Department of Human Resources for
Homemaker and Community Home Care
Programs and $119,456 to the
Department of Human Resources for
Protective Services for the
elderly.
