The functions of the Maryland
Criminal Justice Council shall be
transferred by Executive Order to
the Department of Public Safety
and Correctional Services
effective July 1, 1984, unless
superceded by action in the
Budget Bill for fiscal year 1985
or other legislation enacted
during the 1984 Session of the
General Assembly.
No funds appropriated herein may be
expended by the Maryland Criminal
Justice Coordinating Council
after October 1, 1983. However,
should the functions of the
Council be transferred by
Executive Order to the Department
of Public Safety and Correctional
Services, the funds appropriated
herein may be expended by that
agency pursuant to an approved
budget amendment.
