Section 3-310

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Health Occupations
3-310.
Subject to the hearing provisions of § 3-311 of this
subtitle, the Board may deny a license to any applicant,
reprimand any licensee, or suspend or revoke a license if the
applicant or licensee:
(1) Fraudulently or, deceptively obtains or attempts
to obtain a license for the applicant or licensee or for another;
(2) Fraudulently or deceptively uses a license;
(3) Practices chiropractic under a false name;
(4) Impersonates another practitioner;
(5) Is convicted of a crime involving moral
turpitude;
(6) Habitually uses alcohol, or any narcotic or
stimulant to the extent that the individual is unable to perform
professional duties competently;
(7) Solicits or advertises in a false or misleading
manner or in any other manner not approved by the Board;
(8) Is unethical in the conduct of the practice of
chiropractic;
(9) Is professionally, physically, or mentally
incompetent;
(10) Abandons a patient;
(11) Misrepresents the effectiveness of any
treatment, drugs, devices, appliances, or goods to a patient so
as to exploit the patient for financial gain;
(12) Willfully makes or files a false report or
record in the practice of chiropractic;
(13) Willfully fails to file or record any medical
