OUTSIDE THE HOME; OR (II) THE NEEDS OF THE HANDICAPPED PERSON WHO
WISHES TO DO INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK THAT NECESSITATE THE PERSON
WORKING AT HOME. UNABLE TO ADJUST TO FACTORY WORK BECAUSE OF AGE,
OR PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY; OR (II) THAT THE PERSON WHO WISHES TO DO
INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK IS UNABLE TO LEAVE HOME BECAUSE THE WORKER'S
PRESENCE IS REQUIRED TO CARE FOR AN INVALID IN THE HOME. (E) TO APPLY FOR AN INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK PERMIT TO DO
GARMENT MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK, A PERSON DOING GARMENT
MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK SHALL SEND TO THE COMMISSIONER
OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY: (1) A WRITTEN APPLICATION ON THE FORM THE COMMISSIONER REQUIRES; AND (2) AN ANNUAL INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK PERMIT FEE OF $50
FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL AND $100 FOR EACH MANUFACTURER. (E) TO APPLY FOR INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK PERMITS TO DO GARMENT
MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK, A GARMENT MANUFACTURING
EMPLOYER SHALL: (1) SEND TO THE COMMISSIONER OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY,
FOR THE EMPLOYER AND EACH HOMEWORKER EMPLOYED, A WRITTEN
APPLICATION ON THE FORM THE COMMISSIONER REQUIRES; AND (2) PAY TO THE COMMISSIONER OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY AN
ANNUAL INDUSTRIAL HOMEWORK PERMIT FEE OF $50 FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL
EMPLOYED AND $100 FOR THE EMPLOYER. 328. (A) Every employer or manufacturer, whether a person, firm
or corporation, contracting for the manufacture in whole or in
part, altering, repairing or finishing of any articles in a
[tenement or] dwelling house, or in any room or workshop outside
of [his, their or its own] THE BUSINESS establishment, or giving
out of materials from which [they or] any part [of them] are to
be manufactured, altered, repaired or finished!,] in a [tenement
or] dwelling house, or in any room or workshop outside of [his,
their or its own] THE BUSINESS establishment, shall keep a
register of the names and addresses, plainly written in English,
of the persons to whom such articles or materials are given to be
so manufactured, altered, repaired or finished or with whom such
employer or manufacturer has contracted to do the same, and shall
issue with all such articles or materials a label bearing the
name and place of business of such employer or manufacturer
legibly written or printed in English.
