Section 138A
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 25 - County Commissioners
138A.
In Allegany County, the County Commissioners are authorized
to open or close, or both, any alleys or streets in the county
[having a width of less than thirty feet] where the purpose of
opening such alleys or streets is for the purpose of giving the
County Commissioners jurisdiction to close the alleys or streets
at some later time.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses
PG 303-83
FOR the purpose of providing that upon the application of any
person seeking an issuance or renewal of an alcoholic
beverages license in Prince George's County, the person must
provide the Board of License Commissioners with certain
information concerning certain criminal convictions;
providing that all stockholders of a corporation that is
applying for the use of an alcoholic beverages license or
that has the use of an alcoholic beverages license in Prince
George's County are subject to the same inquiry concerning
