HARRY HUGHES, Governor                                      221 (i) The licensee is required to drive a motor
vehicle in the course of employment; (ii) The license is required for the purpose of
attending an alcoholic prevention or treatment program; or (iii) It finds that the licensee has no
alternative means of transportation available and without the
license, the licensee's ability to earn a living would be
severely impaired.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage. Approved April 12, 1983.
