requiring the Attorney General to provide legal services to
the Commission; requiring certain annual reports;
transferring all duties and powers of the Community
Development Administration to the Commission, repealing
certain laws relating to the Community Development
Administration; transferring certain duties and powers from
the Secretary of the Department of Economic and Community
Development to the Commission; transferring all powers and
duties relating to the Maryland Housing Rehabilitation
Program from the Department of Economic and Community
Development and the Secretary of the Department to the
Commission; transferring all power and duties relating to
the Home Financing Program from the Department of Economic
and Community Development to the Commission; transferring
all rights, obligations, and property of the Community
Development Administration to the Commission; transferring
all rights of and obligations made by the Department of
Economic and Community Development and the Secretary of the
Department under those powers and duties transferred by this
Act to the Commission; defining certain terms; and generally
relating to the Maryland Housing Policy Commission and
Housing Finance Review Committee.
