Public Schools - Noncertificated Employee
Organization - Carroll County
FOR the purpose of altering the definition of a public school
employer with regard to organizations of noncertificated
employees in Carroll County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Education
Section 6-501(g)(1)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Education
6-501.
(g) (1) "Public school employer" means the county board in
each county except:
[(i) Carroll;]
[(ii) ] (I) Frederick;
[(iii)] (II) Howard;
[(iv)] (III) Somerset;
[(v)] (IV) Wicomico; and
[(vi)] (V) Worcester.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
