AN ACT concerning
Household Appliance Installers' Installation - Licenses
FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Board of Commissioners
of Practical Plumbing to license household appliance
installers; empowering the Board to adopt rules and
regulations to authorize households appliance installers to
do certain work incidental to the installation of household
appliances; providing for certain licensing fees and
performance bonds; and defining a certain term defining
"home improvement" for purposes of the Maryland
Home-Improvement Law as including the replacement,
installation, and connection of certain household appliances
to certain plumbing lines; and excluding from the definition
any replacement, installation, or connection to existing
exposed plumbing lines that requires alteration of the
existing lines.

INSTALLATION OF HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES" MEANS THE INSTALLATION AND
CONNECTION OF HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES TO EXISTING LINES.
