receiving and distributing the payroll or pay checks to the
employed personnel, regardless of where the actual payroll
records are kept and the payroll is prepared. Any employer
violating any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not
more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprisoned for not
more than six (6) months, or be both fined and imprisoned.
353 .
Whenever a sale, transfer or assignment in bulk of any part
of the whole of a stock of merchandise or of fixtures, or
merchandise and fixtures pertaining to the conducting of the
business of the vendor, transferrer or assignor, is made
otherwise than in the ordinary course of trade and in the regular
prosecution of business, the purchaser, transferee or assignee
shall, at least ten (10) days before taking possession of such
merchandise, fixtures or merchandise and fixtures, or paying
thereafter, notify the Comptroller by [registered mail] CERTIFIED
MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED, BEARING A POSTMARK FROM THE
UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE, of the proposed sale and of the
price, terms and conditions thereof.
Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law
15.
(h) Any individual or employing unit which acquires the
organization, trade, or business or a substantial part of the
assets thereof from an employer, shall notify the Executive
Director in writing by [registered mail] CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN
RECEIPT REQUESTED, BEARING A POSTMARK FROM THE UNITED STATES
POSTAL SERVICE, not later than 10 days prior to the acquisition.
Unless such notice is given such acquisition shall be void as
against the Executive Director if, at the time of acquisition,
any contributions or interest are due and unpaid by the previous
employer; and the Executive Director shall have the right to
proceed against such successor for the collection of such
contributions or interest due in the manner prescribed in this
section.

2-311.
(a) Before any license is suspended or revoked, the Board
shall give the licensee at least ten days written notice of the
time and place of the hearing. Notice shall be given by
[registered mail] CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED,
BEARING A POSTMARK FROM THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE,
addressed to the post-office address shown on the annual
registration or in other information the Board possesses.
