24-109. [(a) (1) This subsection does not apply to any combination
of vehicles while carrying international freight in a 20 foot
semitrailer or container. However, this combination of vehicles
is subject to the maximum load limits of axles set forth in §
24-108 of this subtitle and the maximum gross weight limits set
forth in subsection (b) of this section. (2) For purpose of this subsection, the distance
between the first and last axles of a vehicle or combination of
vehicles shall be measured horizontally between the centerlines
of these axles.
(3) The gross weight of any vehicle or combination of
vehicles may not exceed the following limits, prorated for
fractions of a foot:
