SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes
247B.
The Department shall pay to the clerk of the court to whom
each document is sent under § 1-203 of the Corporations and
Associations Article:
[(1) 25 percent of the recording fee for the charter
document;
(2) 50 cents from the special fee for each notice of
change of principal office or notice of change of name or address
of resident agent; and.
(3) $1 from the special fee for each certificate of
consolidation, merger, sale, lease, exchange, or transfer.]
(1) ON SUBMISSION TO THE CLERK OF A CHARTER DOCUMENT,
AS REQUIRED BY § 1-202 OF THE CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS
ARTICLE, 25 PERCENT OF THE RECORDING FEE;
(2) ON SUBMISSION TO THE CLERK OF A CERTIFICATE
RELATING TO A LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, AS REQUIRED BY § 10-206 OF THE
CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS ARTICLE, 25 PERCENT OF THE FEE;
(3) ON SUBMISSION TO THE CLERK OF A NOTICE OF CHANGE
OF PRINCIPAL OFFICE OR NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME OR ADDRESS OF
RESIDENT AGENT, AS REQUIRED BY § 1-202 OR § 10-206 OF THE
CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS ARTICLE, 50 CENTS FROM THE SPECIAL
FEE CHARGED FOR EACH DOCUMENT; AND
(4) ON SUBMISSION TO THE CLERK OF A COPY OF A
CERTIFICATE, AS REQUIRED BY § 3-111 OR § 3-117 OF THE
CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS ARTICLE, $1 FROM THE SPECIAL FEE
FOR EACH CERTIFICATE OF:
(I) CONSOLIDATION;
(II) MERGER;
