AN ACT concerning
Frederick County - Compensation for Damages by Dogs
FOR the purpose of exempting Frederick County from liability for
injuries caused by dogs to certain animals owned by
inhabitants of the county; exempting Frederick County from
procedures for determine damages to certain animal owners;
exempting the County from certain duties relating to
injuries to certain animals by dogs; repealing the duty
of Frederick County to prescribe by ordinance or resolution
the manner of compensating county residents for the
destruction or damage of certain animals by dogs providing
that in Frederick County an award of damages granted by the
county commissioners for the destruction or injury of
certain animals by dogs may not exceed a certain amount.
