AM ACT concerning
Montgomery County - Ethics
MC 248-83
FOR the purpose of providing that certain officials in Montgomery
County are to be treated as local officials for the purpose
of certain conflict of interest, financial disclosure, and
lobbying disclosure requirements enacted by the Montgomery
County Council; and making stylistic changes.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

6-102.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW, IN MONTGOMERY
COUNTY THE FOLLOWING OFFICIALS ARE LOCAL OFFICIALS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ANY CONFLICT OF INTEREST REQUIREMENTS ENACTED BY THE
MONTGOMERY COUNTY COUNCIL:
(1) MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY
BOARD OF EDUCATION;
(2) (1) MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTGOMERY
COUNTY REVENUE AUTHORITY; AND
(3) (2) COMMISSIONERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTGOMERY
COUNTY HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES COMMISSION;
(4) MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY
BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS; AND
