(a) A Class B beer and light wine license shall be issued
by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the
place of business is located, and shall authorize the holder
thereof to keep for sale and sell beer and light wines at retail
at any hotel or restaurant, at the place therein described, for
consumption on the premises or elsewhere. The annual fee for
the license shall be $60, and shall be payable to the clerk,
before any license is issued, for distribution as herein
provided.
(I-1) (1) IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE IS
$200, BUT THIS LICENSE DOES NOT PERMIT BEER OR LIGHT WINE SALES
ON SUNDAYS. (2) IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY A LICENSEE MAY PURCHASE A
"SUNDAY SALE" CLASS B BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE FOR A FEE OF
$50. (q) This section shall not apply to Allegany, Charles,
Dorchester, Garrett, [Queen Anne's,] and Talbot counties, in all
of which jurisdictions such licenses shall not be issued. 16. (a) A Class D beer and light wine license shall be issued
by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the
place of business is located. The license authorizes its holder
to keep for sale and to sell beer and light wines at retail, at
the place described in the license, for consumption on the
premises or elsewhere. The license may not be issued for any
drugstore. The annual fee for the license is $60, and shall be
payable to the clerk, before any license is issued, for
distribution as provided in this article. [(s) This section does not apply to Queen Anne's County.] (S) IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY THE ANNUAL FEE FOR THIS LICENSE
IS $200. (z) This section does not apply to the City of Annapolis
nor to Calvert, Dorchester, Frederick, Harford, Kent, [Queen
Anne's,] St. Mary's, and Talbot counties, in all of which
jurisdictions the licenses may not be issued. 103A. (a)  A licensee may not sell any alcoholic beverages in
Queen Anne's County on Sundays except as provided in § 39(b), §
14(I-1)(2), and in this section. (b)  Persons having a "special Sunday   license" pursuant to §
39(b) OR § 14(I-1)(2) may sell those     alcoholic beverages
permitted by their licenses on Sundays   from [1:00 p.m.] 12:00
NOON until midnight.
