AN ACT concerning
Chiropractors - License Requirements
FOR the purpose of providing exceptions to the requirement of a
license to practice chiropractic for certain individuals who
are students of chiropractic or are licensed to practice
chiropractic in other states or countries under certain
circumstances.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Health Occupations
3-301.
(a) The Board may issue, as appropriate:
(1) A license to practice chiropractic; or
(2) A license to practice chiropractic with the right
to practice physical therapy.
(b) Except as otherwise provided in this title, an
individual shall be licensed by "the Board before the individual
may practice chiropractic in this State.
(c) A chiropractor who holds a license to practice
chiropractic with the right to practice physical therapy may
practice chiropractic and physical therapy in this State.
