ON A QUARTERLY BASIS to State Use Industries of their anticipated
orders during the next [1 year] 3 MONTH period.
(2) In the event that State Use Industries is not
able to provide any of the goods and services under contract, the
contracting agency will be notified in order to take appropriate
alternative action to meet the needs of the State agencies for
which it procures goods or services.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

AN ACT concerning
Controlled Dangerous Substances - PHP
FOR the purpose of altering Schedule I of the controlled
dangerous substance provision to include
1-(1-phenylcyclohexyl) pyrrolidine, (commonly known as
PHP) . ; and making this Act an emergency measure.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments
279.
The following schedules include the controlled dangerous
substances listed or to be listed by whatever official name,
common or usual name, chemical name, or trade name designated.
(a) In determining that a substance comes within this
schedule, the Department shall find:
(3) A lack of accepted safety for use under medical
supervision. The following are controlled dangerous substances
and are included in this schedule:
