(1) THE VINTAGE REGISTRATION PLATES SHALL REMAIN
VALID FOR AS LONG AS TITLE TO THE MOTOR VEHICLE REMAINS IN THE
PERSON WHO SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION UNDER SUBSECTION (B)(2)(I) OF
THIS SECTION; AND
(2) A FEE IN ADDITION TO THE ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE
DESCRIBED IN SUBSECTION (B)(2)(IV) OF THIS SECTION IS NOT
REQUIRED FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE VINTAGE REGISTRATION PLATES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

AN ACT concerning
Fair Campaign Practices - Financial Reports
FOR the purpose of altering the schedule of dates on which
certain candidates are required to submit reports of
contributions and expenditures; and generally relating to
campaign reporting requirements.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 33 - Election Code
26-11.
(a) A candidate for nomination or election to public or
party office, including write-in candidates, and the treasurer
designated by that candidate shall file the report or statement
of contributions and expenditures as prescribed in accordance
with § 26-12 of this article with the board at which the
candidate filed his certificate of candidacy. All reports or
statements of contributions and expenditures shall be filed in
duplicate except those filed with the State Administrative Board
of Election Laws. Election reports as specified below are
