AN ACT concerning
The Board of Registration for Professional
Land Surveyors - Disciplinary Jurisdiction
FOR the purpose of providing that the Board of Registration for
Professional Land Surveyors may discipline registered
property line surveyors who commit certain acts.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 56 - Licenses
Section 341(a)(2)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 56 - Licenses
341.
(a) The Board may reprimand, or suspend, revoke, or refuse
to renew the certificate of registration of any registrant whom
the Board finds:
(2) Is guilty of any gross negligence, incompetence,
or misconduct in the practice of land surveying [as a
professional land surveyor;] OR IN THE PRACTICE OF PROPERTY LINE
SURVEYING;

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
