157B. (a) The Comptroller of the Treasury shall administer the
provisions of this subtitle. For this purpose, he may promulgate
such rules and regulations as may be necessary for the proper
administration and enforcement of this subtitle. He shall
establish by regulation minimum specifications for the various
gasoline and special fuel products marketed in this State
consistent with the general practices of other states and the
petroleum industry. When such specifications are established,
the supplier of the gasoline and special fuel products to the
retail service station dealer shall compound the product stored
by the dealer so that it meets specifications. Any analysis of
products under this subtitle shall be conducted by using any
testing method approved by the Comptroller, including those of
the American Society for Testing and Materials. NOTWITHSTANDING
ANY PROVISION IN THIS SUBTITLE TO THE CONTRARY, THE COMPTROLLER
IS NOT REQUIRED TO COLLECT, INSPECT, TEST, ANALYZE, OR ESTABLISH
MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS FOR LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS. HOWEVER, IF
IT IS NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC WELFARE, LIQUEFIED
PETROLEUM GAS IS SUBJECT TO THE SAME PROVISIONS IN THIS SUBTITLE
AS GASOLINE, SPECIAL FUELS, AND OTHER PETROLEUM PRODUCTS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983. Approved May 24, 1983.
CHAPTER 368 (House Bill 168) AN ACT concerning Property Tax Assessment Appeals Boards -
Agricultural Easement Program Appeals Process FOR the purpose of providing that appeal from arbitration as to
the value of an easement shall be to the Maryland Tax Court;
and providing for further appeal from the Maryland Tax
Court. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Agriculture Section 2-511 Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1982 Supplement)
