|
(a-1) Associate real estate broker shall mean any person
[defined in § 218(b)], INCLUDING AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, who
has the qualifications necessary for a broker's license and [has
obtained such a license] WHO IS EMPLOYED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH A
REAL ESTATE BROKER OR WHO IS A MEMBER OF A PARTNERSHIP,
ASSOCIATION, OR OFFICER OF A CORPORATION OPERATING PURSUANT TO §
218(B) OF THIS SUBTITLE.
(b) "Real estate salesman" shall mean any person, INCLUDING
AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, licensed to perform on behalf of any
licensed real estate broker any act or acts authorized by this
subtitle to be performed by a real estate broker.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

(Senate Bill 488)
AN ACT concerning
Motor Vehicle Insurance - Premium Discount
FOR the purpose of allowing motor vehicle insurers to remove
discounts or premiums for certain motor vehicle insurance
coverage for certain insureds without violating insurance
code provisions regarding the making of rates.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 48A - Insurance Code
Section 242(c)(7)(i)

(As enacted by Chapters 869 and 887 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1982)
Preamble
WHEREAS, Chapter 869 of the Acts of 1982 provided that the
removal of an insurance premium discount is not a violation of
insurance code provisions regarding the setting of rates; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 887 of the Acts of 1982 repealed the same
provisions that the removal of an insurance premium discount is
not a violation of insurance code provisions regarding the
setting of rates; and
