(i) Construction or repair work on public
property; or
(ii) Fire or rescue station alerting devices.
(2) Noise control rules and regulations that apply to
Department of Transportation facilities shall be adopted jointly
by the Department of Transportation and the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That all laws or
parts of laws, public general or public local, inconsistent with
this Act, are repealed to the extent of the inconsistency.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

AN ACT concerning

|
Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation -
Easement Installment Payments
FOR the purpose of requiring the Maryland Agricultural Land
Preservation Foundation to inform certain landowners in a
certain manner of the applicable interest rate anticipated
range of interest rates payable on installment payments for
certain purchases of agricultural easements; requiring the
State Treasurer to renegotiate certain contracts for
agricultural easements under certain circumstances;
requiring the State Treasurer to invest the unpaid balance
of certain funds in accounts commingled from other State
investments at the landowner's option for a certain purpose;
and generally relating to interest payments under
installment purchases of agricultural easements for the
Foundation.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
