(b) The Plumbing Board shall promulgate a system of rules
and regulations and submit for adoption those rules and
regulations to the County Commissioners. Prior to their
adoption, the rules and regulations shall be published once each
week for [3] 2 consecutive weeks in at least 2 of the Calvert
County newspapers. The Commissioners shall provide for a public
hearing on the rules and regulations and shall publish notice of
the day and time of the hearing at the same time the rules and
regulations are published. The purpose of the hearing is to have
the Commissioners obtain the benefit of the public's views and
opinions prior to final adoption.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

CHAPTER 276
(House Bill 1432)
AN ACT concerning
Kent County - State's Attorney
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Kent County State's Attorney
to employ an assistant State's attorney; providing that the
salaries of the deputy State's attorney, the assistant
State's attorney, the administrative coordinator, and
certain other employees shall be set by the County
Commissioners; providing that allowances for general office
expenses of the State's Attorney shall be set by the County
Commissioners; altering the general fund allowance for
investigations by the State's Attorney; and generally
relating to the State's Attorney's office in Kent County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact
Section 40(o)
