HARRY HUGHES, Governor                                    915

permitted the Legislative Auditor to provide the
certification required under subsection
(b)(l)(iii) of this section, is deleted as
inconsistent with the fourth sentence of former
Article 43, § 568Pb., which stated that the
Legislative Auditor is the certified public
accountant for the University of Maryland
Hospital and, thus, requires certification by the
Legislative Auditor. This revision of subsection
(b)(1)(iii) of this section is in accordance with
the apparent intent of Ch. 752, Acts of 1980,
although the title of that Act did not reflect
this authorization. See Bill Review Letter (H.B.
521) from Stephen H. Sachs, Attorney General, to
Harry R. Hughes, Governor, May 19, 1980.

19-213. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

THE COMMISSION SHALL REQUIRE EACH FACILITY TO GIVE THE
COMMISSION INFORMATION THAT:

(1)  CONCERNS THE TOTAL FINANCIAL NEEDS OF THE
FACILITY;

(2)  CONCERNS ITS CURRENT AND EXPECTED RESOURCES
TO MEET ITS TOTAL FINANCIAL NEEDS; AND

(3)   INCLUDES THE EFFECT OF ANY PROPOSAL MADE
UNDER SUBTITLE 1 OF THIS TITLE, ON COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH
PLANNING.

(2)  CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION;

(3) REQUIRE THE FILING OF ANY INFORMATION; OR
