HARRY HUGHES, Governor

847

SHALL NOTIFY THE SECRETARY.

The fourth and fifth clauses of former Article
43, § 52, which listed duties of the Secretary
and enabled the health officer to exercise the
powers of the Secretary, are deleted as
unnecessary in light of the duties of the
Secretary and health officers under §§ 18-101 and
3-306(b) of this article, respectively.

without substantive change from the second
sentence of former Article 43, § 80.

The term "county board of education" is
substituted for the term "school authorities",
for clarity.

The second sentence of former Article 43, § 79,
which imposed a similar duty on the county boards
of health, is deleted as unnecessary in light of
