REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a), (b), and (c)(1), (2),
(3), (5), and (6) of this section are new
language derived without substantive change from
former Article 43, § 815(c), (d), and the first
sentence, except the parenthetical phrase of that
sentence, and the entire third and fourth
sentences of (b).

Subsection (c)(4) of this section is added as
standard language. It follows from the
requirement that there be staggered terms. An
inherent aspect of staggered terms is that they
must begin and end at set intervals. For
circumstances under which subsection (c)(4) of
this section applies, see the General Revisor's
Note to this article.

In subsection (a)(1) of this section, the former
reference to nonvoting members as "ex officio"
members is deleted as inaccurate, since the
nonvoting members are not designated officials.

In subsection (a)(3)(i)l. of this section, the
correct name of the Monumental City Medical
Society is substituted for the incorrect
"Monumental Medical Society of Baltimore".

In subsection (a)(3)(i)4. of this section,
reference to the "faculties of the Johns Hopkins
Medical Institutions" is substituted for the
reference to the "faculty of the Johns Hopkins
University medical institutions." The reference
