AN ACT concerning

The Landlord-Tenant Commission

FOR the purpose of removing the mandatory requirement
for submission of a report to the Council setting forth the
standard upon which to base the issuance, reissuance, and
denial of a management license; amending the provisions of
the Landlord-Tenant Regulations regarding late fees and
security deposits; clarifying the appeal provisions of the
Landlord-Tenant Code; and providing that appeals to the
Commission by a respondent who declined to participate in
the hearing before the Director shall be on the record and
not de novo.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendments:

SUBTITLE 13. HOUSING.

Sections 13-144, 13-158, 13-159, 13-163, 13-167, and

13-176,
The Prince George's County Code

AN ACT concerning

Legislative Agents

FOR the purpose of requiring that certain persons that
appear before the County Executive or any department head
for the purpose of influencing official action or inaction
on any legislative act or resolution register as
"legislative agents;" defining "legislative action;" and
exempting certain activities from the registration
requirements; and generally to cause the Legislative Agents
Ordinance to conform with the requirements of the Maryland
Public Ethics Law.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendments:

SUBTITLE 5. BUSINESSES AND LICENSES.
Sections 5-176(a), 5-177(a), 5-179(a),
5-180, 5-181(a), and 5-183,
