EMERGENCY BILL

AN EMERGENCY ACT concerning

Taxicabs

FOR the purpose of increasing the rates charged by
taxicab drivers and exempting attendants providing physical
assistance to handicapped persons from the payment of
taxicab fares.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendments:

SUBTITLE 20. TAXICABS AND OTHER
VEHICLES FOR HIRE.
Section 20-160,

The Prince George's County Code
(1979 Edition, as amended by CB-67-1980 and
CB-132-1980).

AN ACT concerning

Enforcement of Traffic and Vehicle Laws

FOR the purpose of authorizing Public Service Aides
assigned to the Police Department, upon written delegation
from the Chief of Police, to enforce street traffic laws of
the County and vehicle laws of the State of Maryland
applicable to traffic in the County and repealing
unnecessary language.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendments:

SUBTITLE 18. POLICE.

Sections 18-186.1, 18-186.2 and 18-186.3,
