reenacted, with amendments.

ORDINANCE NO. 2596

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mayor and Council,
recognizing that our system is dependent upon the citizens
maintaining the highest trust in their elected officials, to
enact a provision requiring all candidates for elective
office to file reports on campaign contributions.

Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, added.

CHARTER RESOLUTION NO. 81-1

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the City of
Taneytown adopted pursuant to the authority of Section 3
("Home Rule") of Article XI-E ("Municipal Corporations") of
the Constitution of Maryland and of Section 13 (under
subtitle "Home Rule") of Article 23A
("Corporations-Municipal") of the Annotated Code of Maryland
to amend the Charter of the City of Taneytown (1978 Edition)
by repealing Section 707 "Appropriations Lapse" and
re-enacting a new Section 707 "Appropriations Lapse and
Unexpended Funds" to provide for clarification of the
disposition of unexpended funds at the end of the fiscal
year.

Carroll County, repealed and added.
