commitment for escape;
(4) None of these inmates is serving a
commitment indicating that restitution was
imposed by the sentencing authority;
(5) None of these inmates has served a
segregation confinement term since
September 1, 1981;
(6) Each of the inmates is scheduled for
mandatory discharge by operation of law
between December 25, 1981 and March 31,
1982; and
(7) The release of these inmates would not
be contrary to the public safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, HARRY HUGHES, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, having thought proper the extension of
clemency in the following cases do hereby, pursuant to
the authority vested in me by law, grant unto the
following persons a COMMUTATION of the remainder of
their sentences as imposed for the offenses indicated:
