AN ACT concerning

Environmental Noise Standards - Shooting Sports Clubs

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a political subdivision from
adopting any noise control ordinance, rule, or
regulation that prohibits trapshooting, skeetshooting
or other target shooting at certain times by certain
shooting sports clubs; providing that certain sound
level limits and noise control rules and regulations
adopted under the Health - Environmental Article do not
prohibit trapshooting, skeetshooting or other target
shooting at certain times by certain shooting sports
clubs; and providing for the repeal of inconsistent
public general or public local laws.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

(a) (1) Except as provided in this section, this title
does not limit the power of a political subdivision to adopt
noise control ordinances, rules, or regulations.

(2) A political subdivision may not adopt any
noise control ordinance, rule, or regulation that is less
stringent than the environmental noise standards, sound
