NOTE

One hundred and twenty-four bills were vetoed by the Gover-
nor following the 1982 Regular Session of the General Assembly.
Seventy-two of these bills originated in the Senate, and 52 of
them originated in the House of Delegates. Pursuant to the
provisions of Section 17 of Article II of the Constitution of
Maryland, these bills will be returned to the General Assembly
immediately after the Legislature has organized at the next
Regular or Special Session, to be reconsidered in order to deter-
mine whether the veto is sustained or overridden.
